NEW WORLD :: MONASTERY

We recently got a new task for a new "movie" coming up.
This is set in ancient times where mankind devotes for perfection.
This place is a place of training, peace and soul searching
This place is a monastery.

GO FORTH AND CREATE. POST YOUR WIPS.

DEADLINE: MAY 27

3D is acceptable. We want to see some architecture on this as well.

here is my wip, im not very skilled with environments, but i also want to improve

i always liked the idea of an ancient monastery towards the sea, maybe in a tropical area.

Great start everyone!!!
@liz - good good start and reference.... make sure u make a difference on whats what in terms of texture and materials.... also try to indicate the lighting in the early stages of your painting!!!

@horus - great shot, try to not cut off the actually monastery, which is your selling item on this piece. make sure it reads well and that the focus on it since its the subject matter on htis round!

keep it up!

@dimari - dude this is an awsome start man! i cant really wait to see your final. your environments are amazing!

@jose: thanks, i�m not sure if i must center more the attention on the monastery, but i like this view. With the buildings as something far and misterious
