Hey everyone I'm new to CGhub..
I'm taking a stab at dominance war this year however I've taken majority of the time spent on flushing out my concept...only last week have I finally buckled down to get onto design/drawing....so heres My final design for 1 of my characters:

His "weapon" / pet

I will post my roughs once I get off work...
I'll post details about my concept as well...

--finally got photoshop working! heres my first initial b/w study.

I'm in love with this...

What most arrests me is that this looks like a CHARACTER, and not merely a design. I see that crucial spark of life and become immediately curious and invested.
