    Default warrior Portrait

    Hi guys,

This is an attempt to create a realistic portrait. I've used Maya for the basemesh and Maya hair for the eyebrows. For the fine details and sculpting I've used Zbrush. I used some photo references from 3d.sk for the color maps, and projected them using Mari. I rendered using Mental ray.
    Hope you like it =)

Hello, dorothysb.Everything of your character is OK,especially his face. But his top head seems strange, isn't it?That is not very realistic.

        Nice model !

The only thing I can comment is the nose bridge.

Maybe you could define the shape of it more because now it actually look kind of flat.

Yes, I agree with you, but I think I made it worse choosing the wrong lens to render XD.

After a second look, I think I shouldn't have posted this work on the 3D finished work session... There's a lot of things I'd like to change, specially on the render (which I'm not very good at ).

The result I'm aiming is something more like that:

I'll appreciate any rendering tip that could help me to get closer to this.

I'll take a second look. To be honest I haven't really spent much time on it. Thanks for the tip!

          Cheers
