Default First sculpt - technique advice please

    See attached.

Just wondering how to do the mane?

Don't think it would look to good if I just pulled the mesh out from the head. Would be stretching out the topology too much.

I'm very new to this so might need a slight push in the right direction.

Also, quick question, I'm not sure about my poly count, is that the same as the active points, i.e. 650k? and if so, for what I'm doing, is that a bit too much? I don't even know workflow practices to be honest.

    Thanks!

One way to do the mane would be to click the Dynamesh button in the Geometry panel: http://pixologic.com/zbrush/features...h4r2/dynamesh/

The active points count is the vertex point count of the currently selected tool. And the total points count is the vertex point count of all sub tools. If you want to see your polygon count, hover your cursor over the thumbnail image of the currently selected tool in the Tool panel or in the SubTool list.
