Yeah, the sketch is great but where's the "twist" ?
Ive seen the movie and your image is pretty standard to what we see in the movie.
I mean if this work is ment for the fairytales reimagined contest, you should think of something different than just another work in the Tangled drawer.
If its not a part of the contest - ignore my comment and have fun finishing that

The drawing is great but it just looks like Fan-art for Disney Tangled...nothing 're-imagined' from the actual fairy tale.

hmm....i was thinking my tangled is different then disney movie,
levitation with the hair and metaform to snake at the end of the hair(medusa).

do you think that not "re-imagined" enough?.

the characters i am still woorking on it,this is just the layout for me.

just an idea tho, maybe you could put the original hair of snow white, just to make it more recognize able, keep on going dude, tho i like your first sketch better

Irawan, I think that doing lots of rough sketches first to get out usual 'cliches' may eventually bring you to a 're-imagine' that you can be satisfied with.

I personally like the sketch for Repunzal, and can understand some peoples posts about it not being too re-imagined. I think maybe you could elaborate the hair more; step away from your usual comfort zone, and push the story more.

Repunzals hair could be a forest; or she could be a sky princess and her hair is the clouds; or a kind of sea creature with long tentacles.
We have plenty of time to flesh out something original. Take the elements of the characters, and change them dramatically. The story will always the same - just add that twist to make it different from the usual fairy story...
