Good morning! Well everyone we have done Mordor and since the Hobbits release why dont we draw the Shire? Your goal is to draw the Shire and Hobbiton isnt the only place you can show us feel free to explore all of the other regions of the shire! Pretty simple!

Good to be back again!

This is an awesome topic, I went with some sort of mansionlike hobbit-house on the outskirts of Woodhall. Here's a first WIP (I know it's rendered a lot already but I got carried away

)

Quick thumbnail of my entry. I liked the idea that some Hobbits might live in a bog or a swamp. Usually they look so sophisticated but maybe there are some bayou-hobbits. Anyways, we'll see how far I take that. Name: Rushock Bog.jpg

Had fun with this one, would love to explore even more views of The Shire. I'm submitting everything since I will be on vacation when the deadline hits. Would love to get some feedback too cause I want to come back to this. Can't wait to see everyone's work!

I hope you all like it. It is more of a rough I also uploaded thumbnails. I still need to finish the concept and paint it up more but it is a rough. Do people like the god rays in this or is it better without them??

late entry, couldnt resist havin a go tho, my angle is the Brandywine bridge that seperates the shire from the rest of the middle earth, and specifically the return of Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin only to find the bridge barred by a mysterious gate, its a scene from the book that isnt in the movie...
