Anatomicae #21 - Bio-luminescent Demigod

The bioluminescent demigod is a symbol of hope for the peoples that worship it. It is very rarely seen, but those who manage to catch even a glimpse of this elusive creature are considered to e blessed by the gods themselves. Once every millennium, the demigod rises to the surface near the main high temple dedicated to it and masses come from around to witness this once in a lifetime event. Some say it rises to the surface at the end of its life and a new demigod is born of its remains, others say its appearance symbolizes good luck for the new millennium. One thing is for sure though, in the only recorded instance that the demigod failed to appear only tales of unrivaled destruction and terror are told�
