There are lots of entries here, and still plenty of time to make it to the deadline. You have this coming weekend and all of next week to finish your mermaids and get them looking really hot & polished for this pin-up challenge!!

I made a few (micro) changes. Here's the final one. I am glad to be part of this challenge with all of you chaps ! It was a fesh breath of artistic exchanges along my working days !

zy- cant wait to see the progress , what you have there looks correct , is a great start

Yulcha very good work

, from colors to composition is all done with very good taste , my only personal critic now that Ive watch the image many times is that maybe the texture of the canvas could have less intensity to allow the figure to gain even more attention.

MOR what can I say about your entry? ...so far my favorite one , all your sketches and previous work ended paying up a very great solid image

@JessiBean: Looking good. Great color choices all around.

@A78: I keep staring at her just waiting for her eyes to pop open. Great job.

@Vaejoun: Nice piece. Very fun.

@zy; Looking good so far.

@Yulcha: Great piece. Classic. I have to agree with A78 though, the backdrop could be a little less or maybe crop the image a bit more. Great job!

@MOR: Great anatomy! Everything from the woman down to the hip bones where the fish starts just flows together perfectly. It makes me want to be there and save her. GREAT piece!

Hope to see more of everyone pieces come together.

Here is an update on mine. Im calling it "Hey sailor'". Finally got the back right. Now I just have to keep chiseling away. The end is in sight!
