Hey everyone. There's soo much talent and good work here that I thought I'd start a sketchbook thread to keep on practicing and to show my prelim sketches before they go to paint. I also had some great encouragement from my buddy Helmutt. You'll find his gallery and sketchbook here on the hub as well. Well hopefully this is the first of many sketches I can share.

Just added some head studies today! Trying to keep each head between 5-10 min for completion.
Hey everyone. Here's a quick pen sketch I splashed some color on today. Every now and then you get hit with some massive inspiration and that's the case here. I sketched this very very early in the morning while pulling an all nighter to get some work done. My deadlines have been keeping me from getting more personal work done but that's good! It's one of the goals I suppose of an early aspiring artist. Completion time about 1.5 hours with a break from sketch to coloring.
