Great sketchbook. The things that stood out were the self portrait (stop staring at me :P ) the portrait above it and the pot and cup in oils.

A quick crit on the character design. The skintones look burnt out in the shadows and the mouth looks a touch out of alignment. Shadows are usually more saturated.

The environment depth could be pushed by making the background trees smaller... and the size of the foregorund trees larger and more apparent. It's pretty good though and I'm sure you'll be really good at enviros with more practice.

Hey! And thanks for stopping by! What do you mean burnt out in the shadow : o , and there more saturated >.> hmm! And true the mouth is not in the right position but i was changing this char so many times xD i was practicing "don t fall in love with the first design! Change it haha"

and yes i shall @_@ stare at ya! mauahahah

And! indeed the environment could have more work! I learned a gain something.. be more careful with the depth! Thanks lets see what i will do! But now I am too busy sketching in my sketchbook! XD The Mentat xD saw you wrote on his SB poked me to build up that patience! I lose my patience pretty fast! He is so calm when he sketches XD and never rushes! )))

Anyways! Thank you for the crit about my work!

Everything is just too amazing! So much improvement in such a short amount of time, it's incredible!

I especially love that mermaid picture. I could stare for days <3

                  Keep it up!

Doru my Doru! You're quite amazing lately! We both need to work on our colors, it seems like it's so easy to get muddy in photoshop! I was thinking the other day, what if you set up a palette similar to what you do with your oils? So then you can keep mixing pure colors into it instead of always having to color pick and making more muddy colors? Just an idea that I'm going to try out, as I am going back to oil painting. XD

I miss you! I just got myself a new PC so I'll be online more. Happy new year and I can't wait to see what art work you'll produce in 2012!
