hi markus,
quick paintover, nothing special.
i just want to show the layers/depth.
to be honest in a second sketch/tumbnail is much better the depth then the final one.
but like always great work.

Ey' man, killin it with the updates

The last piece is lookin great, I think you could improve it a lot by simplifying the values though. The structure is real tight, and that's great (that's generally for me the hardest part). But now if you go back and just unify some values I think it will be a much stronger piece. Currently the focus goes up to the top right when it seems like you'd want to make the dude the focus. And if the dude is the focus, refine his gesture more til you get it super slick and exactly what you want, putting an extra 30 minutes to an hour into your foundational elements will make loads of difference. Great stuff, im gonna start a painting now that I haven't been doing any lately haha.

      Good new work Mr. West
I like it to see your process, BUT what I see in all your work is, that you sharp your outcomes tooooooooooooo much... The overpaint from irawan is pretty helpful, it isn't so sharp and that makes the atmosphere in your painting more realism.

Keep it up Markus great process at all

Man your colors are sooo good!!! In my opinion your main focus should be studying the figure and drawing as many characters as you humanly can. With this understanding you have of colors and landscapes combined with a bit better characters and you'd be devastatingly awesome.

Amazing work as always malo, the last 2 pieces are just crazy. Neon lights look so fun and crazy to paint. Although i do like the paint over effects that Irawan did to the last piece. Never the less, great work as always keep it up.

Right but in my opinion I just prefer the original one, more rough, more black, more creepy good feeling

              Default :)

I felt lots of emotions looking through this. Most were fear and terror when I saw all the creatures with more than two eyes D: Haha. Anyway, seriously great work.

Love the WIPs, its always refreshing and educational seeing how such a great artist accomplishes his artwork. I'm really avoiding environments until I get better, but whenever I decide to tackle them you'll be my first source of inspiration!

Nice take on it. I would experiment around a little to see if you can bring the focus stronger to the man. Maybe by softening the edges (especially in the upper left corner - the text there is very crisp)

                Keep up the cool stuff.

Maybe next a forest scene ? Like we are wandering into the woods.

As usual awesome landscapes.. like that orange mist on the water in that one at the top of the page. Cool atmosphere.

I think Irawan did a very nice with fixing what I felt should be fixed in your latest image. Just toned it down and unified it a little. But you were on the right track cause he didn't change that much.

As Placeboast said, it would be nice to see some characters (like, full body stuff). And I should do the opposite (more landscapes) xD.
