I was coming on my way home listening to Tarja Turunen on my ipod and got all excited and eager to do an attempt at digital painting. So, with tons of homework to do and stuff, I got home and got carried away :P Anyway, I REALLY have to stop and do my homework.
Here's my second WIP on the Red Queen concept. Ive gone and started painting in grayscale. Comments and crits much appreciated!

Another quick update

* Resized her head
* Added some stronger values to contour her body
* Added some hard round brush strokes where needed

Here, some more ideas about the Red Queen as a sword or battle axe....

I don't know if I should follow with the sword concept.... it's not convincing me at all.... I guess I'll go another way..... but anyway, here it is, tell me what do you think about them, please.

@elGerman: Hey man, great work! The sword concept is looking nice, but the Axe on the far right (the one u highlighted in red) looks kick ass! Sweet progress, man!

I unfortunately forgot my wacom pen on my cousins house D: Now Ill have to wait until I get back to my city to use my second Wacom pen :P But heres a little update on my Red Queen Concept, this is my first attempt at going 100% digital painting, using different textured brushes. I'm still experimenting and stuff, but any comments are highly appreciated!

thanks mate, I'm glad you like them too..... I guess I should develop that battle axe you mentioned, let's see if I can post some updates today.

JoseVega, man, I love it!!! Maybe you could place a cantina/tavern signal at the begining of the path, with a statue of the Monster slayer or something like that...

and maybe a baby bug as a stable....

what do you think???

crap...laptop died :S It wont turn on and therefore I think I lost the original Red Queen psd...erh...I guess Ill have to work over the jpg I uploaded from my desktop computer :P
Depression for the loss of a loved machine aside, great work so far guys! Come on anja, dont give up!
