Nice works all around.
@jennifereasley: I like your color scheme. @Dashofcinnamon: Interesting pose. You may try cropping to wide format. And add leaf, bough or something on the top. This explain hers position. @Knevil: Her hair has beautiful decorations. @Anja: Great picture. Wonderful magic light. Maybe the face is a little flat. And leg looks like broken. @skeiser: Very nice concept but different size the wolves is strange. @ste: Gorgeous picture. You can add green lights in front her body. The tree right side, i am not sure is in front or behind her. (On your sketch is nice how she is peeking through the trees but on your colour version this effect is heavy reduc.) @trailofcrumbs: I like the fairy with feelers. Your sketch figure look really aristocratic. (I imagine self-confident attitude may be tiny arrogant. With wolves like royal valets. )@Blindrat: Wonderful, this my favourite. I love hers strong and stable stance and visage tribal warrior like indian headhunter. I am sorry for my bad english. and this is my start |

Really amazing work so far!! So many entries...
Here's the update for mine, added in some foreground elements and rim lighting around the characters, so hopefully it's looking better. Last edited by jennifereasley; 11-01-2011 at 10:51 PM. Reason: can't spell |

![]() A bit of an update, just working with some of the lighting. I feel like it should be a bit more dappled but right now its mostly placement. I feel like my Fae is looking pretty plain, I don't really want to give her wings. Maybe antlers, but not on her head. also some tattoos or scarification on her face might add personality. @ trailofcrumbs - Thanks for the advice, I like the shape of your fae's face it really gives her an erethral look, the antennae are a nice touch @ I absolutely love the wild look, and the red markings really stand out @ kinevil I really like the regal look, the hair is absolutely gorgeous @ Morendred - your poses are really cool, wolves and fae @vnmribaya - awesome sketches I think number 3 and 6 are my favourties @phounkia I really like the neutral tones, the wolves are pretty good too, though I feel the one in the front needs a fuller face like the others. |
