Default Nyle Levi Sketchbook -- Feedback and tips are welcome!

Okay so I've finally decided to create my own sketchbook here after coming here for so long to look at all the amazing art that you guys are doing.

Im 21 and I'm an Illustration student at univeristy and I started drawing about 2 years ago.

I need to get more involved in an community so that it helps motivate me to create more art and I know that you guys will be able to give me good feedback

EDIT: How do I get the images so that they appear as part of my post and not in the attachments?

        Hi and welcome Nyle Levi

I think you are having a good start. But I think you noticed that your anatomy still needs training. ( But everyone needs this) So just keep on posting your progress, nothing to crit right now, just do more and everything will work out fine.
Try not to rush but be patient with yourself and keep working.

Yeah good start, and try to free your line and hand while drawing, to give it more impulsion and strenght. Beware of big asses, and body spinal axe ! Also remeber you always have one eye between the two !

                Hey!

Its been a long time since I've posted anything here because I've been working on my Uni assignment. We had to create something (the brief is less vague) using 3ds Max and I had a lot of trouble because I had never used the program before and had many computer crashes but thankfully I managed to get something in on time

This also hopefully means that I'll have a lot more time to draw again Gonna aim to update this sketchbook more often from now on.

I'd be interested in seeing some fully done environments. the castle looks interesting, though it lacks some emphasis. there's a perfectly good castle, and it's perched on a winding hill at the top of the city, but there is so much space surrounding it that its size is diminished. remember that you really need to make your focal point of your pieces stand out.

Hey thanks for the advice, what do you suggest I add into the background? Because I was struggling with that one too.

I wanna add some detail to the guy’s fist to make it look like he’s just hit the other guy but I’m not quite sure how to do it. Any ideas?

I feel like I am really learning so much whilst doing this project. Im happy that I've managed to maintain the same style throughout as well. I still have another 20 pages to go!
