I cant believe Marat didn't even make it, he could have easily won the whole thing. I guess public voting adds that unpredictable element that make lots of games fun.

Well, I just had to stay alert and post here to scoop you two! :P

Word on the street is that Marat-Ars didn't get included not necessarily because of the public voting but because of the soft public voting: He didn't get his entry in by the initial deadline so many people had already voted by the time his entry was into the system. I didn't vote for him myself for that same reason: His entry just wasn't there when I happened to have voted. Even then, he still ranked 14th place on GA.

How do I know what place? Apparently, Fred is revealing a ranked-sorted view so that everyone can see what place they ended up (albeit not how many votes anyone received.) At least I think/hope he's doing this for all forums and all categories: Right now it's only implemented for GA's 3D artists: http://wwww.gameartisans.org/contest...mlistings.html but I hope he'll do that for all forums and for 2D too.

Yeah I also thought as much. I actually didn't vote for GA till he uploaded hi's entry, but I think he can at least take a 1st place in the mini warm up.
