    voyd: Good color scheme except the yellow. Its WAAAAAAAY too yellow and a bit too cool. I'd say make it a tad more orange and half as saturated. If you want it to look dirty it will be brown. If you want it make it more toxic add more green. If green make it maybe 30% saturated tops, brown maybe 50%. Anyhow, you can probably change it in the hue saturation and at the top where it says rgb, change it to yellows and that will let you change the color and saturation.

      Default Finals Thread?


      When will the finals thread be posted for this one? Was the deadline pushed back and I missed it?

      Also:

      @vnmribaya: liking your direction so far...maybe try some hedging foreground elements as your corners are pretty empty

      @vakon: really digging the monster and the stylized detailing but some of the 2d-ish haze/smoke around the human character is flattening him out and making him look like he doesn't belong. He looks better without is, as you had him in your first comp post.

      @monkeybread: I'm sure you've already made these decisions as it's been a little while but I am more drawn to your top WIP in terms of composition

      @voyd: i like your textures but your image is really flattening out, despite all its detail. The main reason (to me) seems to be your values. You can check your values by adding a Black & White layer over your image...you need more darks up front and really need to lighten up your background. also the rhino is leading my eye off the page a bit...maybe one more foreground gear or something could help seal up that corner.

      @solo: digging the comp. same for you in terms of values maybe lighten up your background so the helicopter and rock values aren't so close (it only needs a very minor adjustment). you can use more detail up front to reinforce that depth as well.

        Hello everyone!!!

        Sorry for the delay in responses! I've been mega swamped with work! Because of it I will be unable to set up final threads, and polls and all that good stuff!

        So why not extend this challenge for one more week? Last time an extension gave everyone ample time to really take the work to a very polished level, so let's do it again this time!!

        So one week, Aug 29th 11:59 p.m (pacific time) is our new deadline!

              hey everyone, thought i'd throw in something as well, so here's my first sketch. I'm going for a very close and personal combat, almost like wrestling with handguns, point-blank shots, contorted bodies, nice and simple.

              Before i splash in some color i'll change the postures a bit to make it more dynamic, the dark android needs more twist in his torso and the handguns need some re-positioning; i want to give the feeling that they both wanted to score decisive shots but the movement made them hit non-vital parts (android's shoulder, man's hip)

              here's some update, a little more action in this one. WTArnold thanks for the feed, do you think that the soldier at the right its enough? i think that the composition its e little bit awkward yet.
              iime, that looks awesome man!
              Jae1234, like it so far, maybe you can move the man with the jetpack a little bit to the foreground, so you can give more depth to the composition? and place it closer to the viewer. hope it helps.

                    Hi guys! I'm so sorry for the delays! The game i'm working on is going to be released soonish and we are working like mad! Mixed in with freelance and doing shows I don't have much time left, so my apologies for it! You guys should not be left waiting, especially after working so hard!!!
