hi john,
great update!
i think the composition much better without the dragon on the lower part(dragon no head), the small one is fine.

if you still want to show it, better you draw completely( with the head), a big object and cut the head is not a good way,imho.

but overall look great, looking forward for coloooooooooooooooor version.

Hehe - I'm having the same issue - I also have to tech myself not to rush thing. Or at least be able to spend more time on a single art piece.

cool updates John, nice character design...love that sword, I think his left foot should be pushed back a little and positioned underneath him more to give him a little more balance. Otherwise nice piece really like the way you handled the figure on the ground, really nice lighting.

Nice thumbnails too, I think the third one is the most clear but I'm liking the top the most, it has a nice composition
