Question Trying to build my portfolio for character/creature/concept art

When I look at my art I know I have a long way to go before I'm even close to the level of quality that the professionals I admire have, but I like to think I'm headed in the right direction at least. Looking at my works can any body offer some advice or tips or critiques for how to further develop my portfolio so that it's ready to present to potential employers? Any advice at all will be a great help.

you should check out Feng Zhu's school of design video's on youtube. I don't remember which episode it was but he explains what a good portfolio should consist of in two episodes giving tips and such. check it out.

I think you should include some more character/ creature designs like full body shots, model sheets and such. maybe google for digital art portfolios or concept art portfolios and you'll find some examples.

        good luck
