    Default Newbie Blogsite. Help!

I have this lovely blogsite which shows my progress of my art peices and my daily grumbles on life in general. Ok I'm no pro artist but I'm learning and hoping to improve, and thought I'd share my journey.

Problem is I can't get an audience. It seems a big effort for little reward. What am I doing wrong. Can anyone give me anygood tips or suggestions. Is it that bad?

My blogsite is www.jezandrewsart.blogspot.com. Any constructive help is most welcome!!

You should start posting your stuff in art communties like Devinart.com which is the only way to get good number of visits.

goru: Deviantart has a very specific audience, you are either *very good* with 1000's of fans or you draw wolves, yaoi or bad furry stuff and get fans that way. Deviantart will get you as I call 'asspats' they tell you how good you are but you will not get good crits and improve from that community.

jezandu: It's not that your site is bad, its that your art isn't good enough and please take this in a constructive way. There are so many millions of artists out there you need to be exceptional to get noticed. You need to network with artists of a similar skill level or higher and improve with them. Draw every day post and be active in communities like CGhub/artorder/CA and Deviantart etc. If you arent drawing you should be networking and that will get you an audience

Thanks for the responses......I shall go off and cry myself to sleep now......haha only joking!! Yeah I know its not good stuff, and I think thats not helping. There are so many great artists out there, that I can't compare. Still I only started a few months ago so there's room for improvement on the content........I hope!

I am gradually networking and posting things here and there on Cghub and art order. Having problems actually joining deviant art for some reason. They won't send me a confirmation E-mail. Damn them.

Think I may have to try some art jams soon too so people can see my stuff and get to know me more. Or laugh at me and send me packing! haha.

        Cheers again

        Jez
