Hey guys
Great looking sculpts!

SsSanduC ~ nice blockin of the creature from the black lagoon. im looking forward to seeing the final details.

Jorgepepelife~ Good to hear, try to post something mid week so we can have a peak at the textures.

Rohanvg~ Hows it coming man? you have the body blocked out yet? If you dont have time you can just do a Bust ( Upper torso) of him. then finish him off for yourself later on.

This Month i may not be able to post anything. really busy with over time at work and dealing with a nasty bug as well as the whole family life... haha.

I wish i never had to sleep... not enough time or energy to get all the things you want to do done!

Next challenge I'm thinking of doing this one.

Bio-transports. Huge creatures that are grown and modified to be used as "vehicles"
- ex. Flying cloud whales with walkable areas inside their bodies and transparent membranes for outside viewing; Gigantic crystaline butterfly with structures grown within them like living compartments; Mountain sized lion turtles with forests growing on their backs... etc

It'll get you guys to push the "Scale" boundaries of your work as well as get you to work on your hard body sculpting.

hmmm... That sounds like a very good idea in my opinion. Lots of images and ideas are "flying" through my head after I read it.

Anyway here is my creature. I still have some stuff to refine more. Still have to texture it. I still have a long road ahead of me... lots of stills there

Nows the time to put in the final details and polish your piece.

If you want to add textures or hair or do up a set piece go for it!

I'll post the Finals thread on friday the 17th. That'll give you saturday and sunday to post your stuff there.

Hey rohanvg,

Google some images of guys in similar clothing to frankenstein for reference. then block in some of the major structure of the body and folds in the cloth. Try to give him a dynamic silhouette when you pose him too Goodluck dude!.
