Extension or not, here's my final. Won't have access to my tablet till Monday either way :[. Had to cram, so that's a night well spent!

Can't seem to find the official activity rules - I assume we post finals here (or in the finals thread) with the attachment manager?

Mixture between a Henry Raeburn painting and a toad, reference used is back on the 2nd page.

Hey guys, beautiful paintings! I especially love the armor on the lion and the soft look to his face, and the colors and large shapework in the toad. The brushwork and color on the fox is amazing, too, love the painterly style. @kittensoft, the hair that you rendered on the dog is so cool, makes me want to reach out and touch it. Would you mind experimenting with a dark background? I'm very curious to see what that would look like if you have time since the image looks pretty bright overall, it would probably make the figure really pop. Just curious

Here's my latest WIP. I hope to practice painting a little every day so I can conquer this mysterious color thing, heh. It is mindboggling at times. It's great that we've got 'til Monday on this

@ JohnSilva: Looking good, keep pushing those values.

@cyl1981: Turned out awesome! I love how vague the armor is but yet its still rendered nicely, and its still very believable.

@Anthis: Love the strokes and the character of the face.

@kittensoft: Really great character, try and push the values a bit more, soft brushes can create nice gradients for rendering.

@black_rain6: Nice! The hoof needs a little attention Ithink, coming along great!

Looking great folks, I'll look through them and give some feedback in a bit, really late here at the moment.

Been away for awhile due to work and tending some family things. Cant believe I would miss something like this hehe. Here is what I was able to do for today. Laying down general tones and working out the structure...
