Hello everyone, very eager to start on this project and watch it, along with everyone else's, evolve and grow. Tips, critiques, opinions, or comments welcome!

The idea is Sleeping Beauty in the future! With some half/man half/cyborg prince coming to save the day. Or a half mechanical prince come to wind up his counterpart mechanical sleeping princess.

I messed with the composition and bought the subject up closer and bigger. I dunno if I like it yet. :/

I moved the subject again and will probably start working on character design later today. I really wanted to show the wind up key for the "puppet" and the other pose was pretty tough to show.

Trying to make sure Mechanical Sleeping Beauty and Prince Charming are the main focus.

I'm gonna have to agree with you on your decision about the composition. The second idea, while epic looking, appeared to me like he was going to stab her! Unless, you want to run with that idea?

I am digging the whole roman-esque, steam-punk, futuristic feel you have going

Can't wait to see more WIPs!

I had another idea, while looking for puppets online, perhaps Sleeping Beauty is a Marionette and Prince Charming is a windup doll trying to free her by cutting her strings?

While I did like the other idea, I felt as though it took away from the MAIN plot of "Hey im here to wake you up"

Im currently designing their clothes and faces. I have also changed the poses a little bit too but I'll upload that later this week once.

This shot just shows some other elements that I added. (sleeping people/animals)

Quick screen shot. I've cleaned up the foundation lines and added faces, and trying to make them look like cyborgs...let alone wind up dolls...is, tough to say the least. :P

Cleaned the lines a bit, and I believe I have (FINALLY) a basic foundation to work from.

Now that I have the important stuff down, mostly, I can start the fun stuff!

Don't like the layout after coming back to it a few days later. I shall change it drastically thursday!

No point designing/coloring until the foundation is set.
