Sweet rendering on the muscles man, nice contrast and poses too.
Colors are a bitch in the digital world tbh , every monitor displays images differently. You do use high saturated colors in your work tho it's not over the top on my monitor. On tv's I think saturation is always boosted since it gets a richer picture and if you are going to display a high satured image on it, it might be oversatured. Perhaps you should compare to images of other artist you like, to see if it is the tv's settings. |

made a post on the CA boards, here it is.
"been pretty busy and stressed out for the last few weeks from mostly work. things are finally slowing down now .... Ive gotta say though, im thinkin i need to move on, work wise. i need to do something before im stuck in a rut. Heres whats on my mind, if anyone has any experience on this then please, do share! Im thinkin of taking a year off to work on my portfolio. I really cant afford to go to school, but yet i want to get some finalized pieces in my portfolio, enough to get me a gig at a decent studio in some bigger city. The only way I can see myself getting more finalized pieces in my portfolio is to stop working and use my 9-5 working on my own stuff. Like i said i dont have money to spend on schooling, but i do have some saved up from the last couple years. If i budget it out, and cancel some luxuries i dont really need, i could probably last a good 8 months, maybe more if i find myself some freelance somehow. anyways, i really need to make a change. something needs to happen or im gonna lose it. and i think this might be it. i dont want to be irrational about it, i know what im potentially getting myself into if i were to do this, theres risks, im aware, but at the same time, i see the benefit, a leap of faith, i know, but man, i really need to do something. i think this is all i have for options here. what do you guys think? should i suck it up, and settle for what i have already and rely on luck and fate to give me something new? or should i take a chance, and try and better myself on my own and then go after what i want head on? ..heh.. thats all. anyways, like i said, been busy, this is all i have for sketches..." a few people have replied with positive feedback, suprisingly! and i think im gonna go through with this. Just a matter of time now. gotta meet up with my bank on setting things up and then i gotta let my boss know of course. but after that, i think ill be finally free and able to feel good about my stuff. im truly looking forward to this, to be able to have more than an hour per day to work on my own shit is awesome. bit scared honestly, from the reality of this actually happening now. but the majority of me is feeling relieved and happy, so thats how i know im doin the right thing, cus you just feel it. ![]() anyways mafawkas, heres a doodle! Congrats on quitting your job dude! I read through this thread and I also wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about the loss of your father. I also lost a parent to cancer and it is such a hard thing to go through, but I'm sure he'd be proud to see that you're taking things into your own hands to do exactly what you want in life. It takes a lot of balls to do what you're doing and I honestly wish you the best of luck, I look forward to seeing a lot more from you!
