    I'm reading the book(s).. just about 450 pages through the first book. I'll start watching the show once I'm done with Book one. You might want to put *SPOILERS* in our thread title if discussions on each episode start to take place. Just for people who haven't read the books or watched the shows stumble in here.

      I just started reading these books this spring, and have been plowing through them because they are so good. I'm about halfway through A Feast for Crows and am watching the show. It's pretty awesome to absorb so much of a world in such a small amount of time. I love the casting they did for the show for the most part. The wider shots of Winterfell and King's Landing are really appreciated. Some of the scenes from Pentos and Vaes Dothrak seem to have extra cheese, but I'm still geeking out about the show.

          I read three of the books a couple years ago. They were great. I also loved looking at the artwork online during that time.
