Crappy SP, I made the nose too long again :/

TC113, definitely not my best, I only had 1 day to do it before the deadline so it's only like 3-4 hours of work, but it's better then nothin.

Finally got my first job as an artist ever. Gotta design a logo for my MMA team and for one of our sponsors. Once finished I'll recieve a percentage for each t-shirt sold. Pretty excited, I'll show some of the logo ideas next time so for now I've got stuff!

Well spent time in math class drawin my reflection in a tinted window

                              Hi Forrest -
your SPs have a great likeness
but i feel like you are missing the point of the TAD figures, that applies to everything you do
working in big shapes, your focusing on detail and rendering, Sargent or Velazquez did not render everything, they worked in big shapes. The Mark English method of figure drawing is just deconstructed Atelier method making it a lot easier to understand.
your not looking at the shapes man, your missing the point
try studying silhouettes of things, make them read. TAD must have said most of this already, but i feel you must have missed it
as you know, with your figure drawing you must draw in the silhouette of the figure in a light tone, and then draw the negative space of everything around teh figure in a dark tone. you don't have to do this in just pastel, i've done silhoutte studies of figures, postiive and negetive space ones too, in marker.
your on the right track, just missing the big shapes bro
keep at it, you'll get there

ryanoir I haven't really been focusing on the silhouette or the shapes of things in most of my sketches so I should probably start doin that, but I have been applying my TAD stuff to a lot of my digitals and I do see an improvement. Thanks.

Been wanting to work on tryin environments for once, It's still a work in progress, but I like it so far.

Also been tryin chalk art, only problem is the only chalk I can get at a store nearby is fuckin crayola chalk which has no black and a bunch of mid toned colors.
