    Hi!
My name is Helen Zhang. I'm 21 and currently enrolled at UMBC studying 3d animation.
I'm a junior texture and concept artist for video games. I recently worked at Breakaway Games as an intern over the summer.
I'm trying to get more portfolio and 3D work done so I'll be ready for a full time position after graduating.

I'm the illustrator for my college's paper, and I have a weekly comic strip that I've done for almost two years every week without fail.

I like cats, raptors, argyle, vanilla, coconut, and video games. My favorites are Portal, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Katamari, and Okami.

Thank you~ argyle is just a pattern. It's like diamonds with stitching that goes through them.

Hey everyone, my name is Leon, I live in the DC area.

I also found this place through a journal over at DA, Im glad I wasnt the only one.

And uhh...not much to say. I went to MICA for a few semesters, but economic problems made me go back home and get a job. I'm an illustrator and wannabe animator, though I am still pretty bad at both, I think I improved a lot in the last couple of months. Anyway, hoping that within the next year or so I get an actual art job, cheers to that.

uuhh...thats all I guess? kinda suck at this >_>...

Heya, I'm Jessie, and I'm living on the border of Markham and Toronto. I came here through friends of friends of Peter Chan, it was quite amusing to hear how fast the news goes down the grapevine especially within the first week of the site opening.

I've had a few years under my belt as a professional comic colourist although the only titles I've worked on were Rotogin: Junkbotz under Image Comics and Neozoic under Red 5 Comics. Eventually I'd like to move onto doing my own thing provided I have the time and effort to do so. Got a Bachelor's degree in Animation from Sheridan, I'm currently doing a bit of freelance so I can get a variety of working experience that I can apply into a 9-5 in film, animation, or games. I've had odd jobs in helping build a stop motion set for an HP commercial, colouring an animated walk cycle for a music video, and storyboarding 3 commercials in 3 days for a credit card ad.

My passion in life is storytelling. I love throwing out crazy plot ideas, watching films [animated or no], and reading lots of oneshot graphic novels. I'm also a big soundtrack freak, always looking out for an album that stands out on its own and still works with whatever movie or game it shows up in.

This thread makes me feel old. So many young artists around!

I am Adi Granov and am an illustrator and concept designer. I live in England. I do most of my work for Marvel Entertainment and illustrate comic pages and covers, as well as licencing and movie work. I seem to be very much tied with Iron Man as I illustrated the book, Iron Man: Extremis, which (arguably) gave the character a fresh lease on life, and I co-designed and art directed Iron Man and Iron Monger for the recent movie along with doing a bunch of key-frame illustrations. The DVD comes out this month, and the Art of Iron Man later this year which should hopefully display a lot of the work we did on the film. All of the toys, statues, t-shirts, sticker books, etc. most likely have something I designed and/or illustrated on them. I continue to work on the various related stuff including covers and a book called Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas which Jon Favreau (the director of the movie) and I are doing together.

I've recently done some Amazing Spider-Man covers, and a short story about Venom, as well as an X-men story. I am slightly overworked at the moment and can't wait to take a break next week.

I like learning about history, wars, engineering, machines, cars... I love high end toys and models and my wife and I have way too many. I also very much like cats.

Hello, I am a 23 year old artist. I'm from San Diego but grew up in the Washington DC area where I currently reside. I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design for several years where I studied animation, graphic design and sequential art before dropping out in 2007 (I regret not continuing my studies).

I'm desperately searching for more steady and legitimate professional work, haha. I'm currently a freelance Illustrator, mostly doing commissions for private clients and independent publications. Recently my work has been published in several art books, the latest being Udon's Street Fighter Tribute. I'm trying to advance my work to pro-level, but I'm not quite there yet!

Cooking is something I enjoy and try to do as often as possible. I also like to compose and record bad music and dabble in sound-engineering. For samples of my music - http://burritochan.net/music/

So far I am impressed with this community and site!

Hey, I'm Ray, hailing from New Jersey, but currently in NYC where I've just finished my first week at SVA and majoring in Illustration. And I'm 17 years old.

I've been drawing since I was young and have been CGing for a year now. Currently I'm freelancing and doing small commissions.

Found this site through Jeff Simpson & Peter Chan. Very nice site! Lots of talent and great work.
