I illustrated the story about when Thor had to lift the world serpent disguised as a giant cat. He eventually lifted only one paw of the cat, but they let that count anyway because it was such a feat...

Going to try and give this a run also- I'll paint Nidhogg gnawing at the rootd of Ygdrasil:

Eager- I hate to tell you this, but Beowulf is not norse mythology, its germanic mythoilogy.
There are numerous stories you can draw upon to use the same sketch though: Tor fighting Giants (who wherent always taller and bigger then others), struggle between two warriors and the valkyries coming own from the sky to fetch one (or both) of them.
the capture of fenrir, and alot of other stories.

I really am sorry, it looks like you have a great sketch going and Id hate to see it to waste because the mythology isnt correct...

Heya, thought i would give this a try, going to go with a scene depicting a Valkyrie surveying the battle field. Ive always liked the way Square-Enix portrayed them in the games they released. Still have alot to go! Crits would be awesome!

MidnightIllo - I'm really liking the dynamic pose in this work and pallet, but i think you could clean up some of the edges, some of the action is getting lost with all of those soft edges, chose some key points to really sharpen up!

Tooled - Its a beauty, like the limited color pallet, really gives it a calming mood, feels surreal!

SeanMcClain - Looking great too, good sense of scale, maybe add some lights in the buildings on the west side of the image? Liking the loose strokes!
