I'll ask my friend who was working on the game's AI. He might know.

Make that two of us. At any rate, I love looking at the game books that tell you how to ...pass the levels, though. They usually come with pretty art <3

You get some nice art with the special edition, if there is a special edition. I haven't bought the game yet but had a friend who works at a game shop give me the special box with book, making of disc and special code to use the Sands of Time Prince.

Haha, I completely agree about the gameplay... but I played/beat it anyway. The story was pretty terrible too - particularly the ending, I might add.
On the subject of game guides (as mentioned by elloi) - another game that had pretty cool art in its book was Assassin's Creed. They're both Ubisoft titles, so who knows - maybe they had a few of the same artists working on both? Either way, my favourite has to be my Shadow of the Colossus "art book" - which, despite the way it's advertised, isn't actually an art book but rather a massive walkthrough written in an asian language with only a few pages of art towards the end. Still, the art is -that- imaginative that I kind of let it go. Plus there're high-res renders of the game all through it, and they all look pretty darn nice! |
