I like #2 and #5. Number 2 should have a huge crazy sword, could be God of Shadows, Number 5 looks like a god of Fire. Lookin forward to progress!

Liked the Long Flowing robe/cape thing on number #2 Great start! I think this adds to the whole "God like effect"

So heres my story,

God of Extirpation

The God of Extirpation used to be the God of Mercy until his unsuccessful attempt to break the fight of the God of Light and the God of Darkness.

Being in the crossfire, the power of both light and darkness then fused into him. Sucking the power out of him and filling him up with the power from the blast.

His previous form and mind was destroyed or wiped out and all that is left of him is a mysterious and unknown shadow, raging uncontrollably and destroying everything that is in its way. All the other gods were afraid of him and they all combined their strength and tricked him into being sealed forever,stealing all his powers and turning him into a demi god.

Then many centuries of war and chaos awokened him and now his back for revenge.

The concepts are coming along, after reading through your story, the image of Kratos (God of War), and War (DarkSider) are the first two that comes across my mind.

The broken chains signify the binds that broke, which you can consider about keeping it as part of your design element, perhaps even as a weapon >> the bind that once was the seal, now a weapon of revenge. The energy wrapped around your character's hands in 7, can perhaps be combined with the chain depicted in 2&4. In terms of shadow and mystery, 3,4&5 conveys the notion well, but in terms of godlike quality, 6 seems to stand out more, personally.

Keep exploring the ideas, hope this helps, looking forward to further developments
