      Default Cockatrice

I started making a "Cockatrice" today, but I don't think I'm gonna finish this one.
I chopped the wings off cause I was gonna make them separate, but I may just start something new.

Great challenge, and already some awesome pieces out there.

Hakkston - bad ass! but your pose looks off. the balance of his stance doesnt look centered properly.(could just be the angle of the screen shots) With such a large upper body his legs would have a wider stance. remember when posing that if the right shoulder is high then the opposite hip is high as well. if he still looks off blalance perhaps try switching the legs to help add more twist to the pose and help create a more dynamic silhouette.

Geo- the cockatrice is pretty cool, i like the emaciated look. push the detail , if you could show the knuckles and tendon detail through the skin of the wings that would look awesome.

Theres still 2 weeks left in this challenge so you guys have plenty of time to work on these.

        hi guy's
hope not to upset anyone by saying this, but I am not too familiar with D&D and I would like to know if this monster/creature is apart of D&D. If so, would anyone happen to know it's name? I found quit a bit of picture without names and don't know which one's to decide from. Thanks a lot.

that looks like a sea hag or a sea zombie.

        go for it.

once you have the monster modeled i'd like to see the water and waves modeled too, to match the reference and put her in its native environment.

I decide to just stick with the same creature, here is a quick update.
Mainly worked on topology and added the wings/extremities today.

Sweeet, I wanna give this a go. Currently have some time off work.........due to there not being enough work.

So I can spend some time on this.

I'm making a Otyugh, not sure how to say it but all I know is that it's a monster that eats poo haha.

I've done about 2 days of sculpting already.

            my base mesh

My sculpt so far. I think I'll try and add him/her busting out of a toilet for fun.

Never made a monster before so this is a fun change for me. Everyone's models are looking pretty sweet so far!

Hey lapiz, your creature's looking great, would love to see some side views of it

                @Geo: This cockatrice is awesome!

@tiagoconcepts: Do you plan on giving your bugbear some hairs? I read They are one of the only goblinoids to be covered in fur.

@kryssmen: great so far can't wait to see the full body

I've been busy theses last few days, i gotta get back to it. The level is quite high already, gonna need some hardwork to compete!

                  Another quick update here.
I had an extra bone in the wing I took out, then worked on smaller details.
I'll need to go with HD geometry if I'm gonna add finer details.
                  ...then comes painting
