Urgh.. I hate school right now. It's supposed to inspire me but now it's doing the exact opposite. Anyway, here's some 15-30 second Pose-maniacs gestures . Not so used to doing this digitally, so used to go inte details to early, so this is a great practice for me I think. it was almost as fun as it was stressful XD

These kind of studies are hard...I really suck at picking right colours and blending them, so this is good practice! Need to do more and speed up the process too ^^

Two quick sketches before bedtime. To be honest though, the "man of the cloth" sketch wasn't quick really, since I made a lot of changes to it, and I still plan to do more of them changes.. Gonna be a boss-character for a school project, mm-hmm!

Cool ideas! The values in the "Boring-ass school lecture drawing" look awesome, you definitely have captured the form nicely.

A small note on your colors, they're really flat. You seem to be mixing brown/black/gray into your shadows which really makes them... muddy. I'm not sure if you've heard of this guideline, but warm light makes cool shadows, and cool light makes warm shadows. So instead of using brown/black/gray all the time, try greens/blues/purples or reds/oranges/browns to make a consist and interesting palette.

Try doing some digital still lives. While it's great to study photographs, the color in them tend to be compressed because a camera cannot see all that we can see. And again, don't be afraid to try something completely different.

Don't really know what you mean about "flat" though, if the colors are flat then the values are too and the pics aren't a complete grey blob if they're desaturated hehe. But yeah, definitely could use more color variation over all, im pretty new to color so these kinds of tips are really good

Still, think you can produce some sick-ass art without following such guidelines. Just look at Kekai Kotaki's stuff for example, like this: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NpjuNIjbqp...hiefStrike.jpg

Here's some horror/terror thingies, it's for my school-exam project. Lucky me that got to make it about drawing and painting, a nice shift from all academic bullshit XD Wish I would have had more time to render some of these more though.
