Welcome to the Fifteenth New Worlds.
Overall in this activity we will be focused on places rather than people or creatures. These will be the sets, or matte paintings if you like, upon which characters, creatures, or vehicles might play out their respective roles within the broader story line of a game, movie, or art for a print work. My co-moderator and I will present you with a batch of information concerning the setting of a game or story and your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to knock my socks off with your best attempt at drawing that set. I know you can do it!

Brief- The city of Viscin is found on the planet Foor in the Plintalis System. This massive metropolis is responsible for most of the trade and commerce among the vast star system around it. Your job is to design this metropolis of trade this planet is home to some creatures as the, Foorian Sand Swimmer

Well I tried to start cranking out something this morning with my Suicidator script for Blender, but it didn't Work out. Guess I have to break down and use SketchUp.

Righty,

Warm up done.

I approached this brief to cater for a desert arid type planet, with the inhabitants having the ability to have stone hewn technology via melting and carving into the rock cliffs, whilst generating a humid atmosphere on the city periphery, this allowing for some hardy vegetation

For architecture, various stabs via the small thumbs, took a look at organic or semi monolithic structures. On this recent attempt, I likened the idea of stone struts carved from the cliff, but the inhabitants wanting a bit of colour and gaiety, have splashed ochre on main buildings and copper coloured roofs (which double as static electrical capacitors)
