Oh thats not the lowest sub d ...my base model is only 2k polys. This was the start of my high sculpt...i usually go back in and retop anyway...which is what im doing at the moment. I took the time to make the helmet and sword today while i do that.

Unfortunately i had technical problems re topping so i had to go back in and more or less start from scratch. The new model has its share of edge loop issues and i can only do so much with the ears because of it...not that it matters much since they will be covered by the hair and helmet but i still hate doing things half assed. Speaking of helmet..heres my Maya sculpt i havnt taken it into zbrush yet so there is much to do. Tomorrow i should be able to cut into him deeper.

      Hi Shadow,

      One idea over the helmet issue, may u can break the helmet in two parts, one the top one, and leaving the down part to another subtool, where u can use retopo and thickness, and in that way u can keep the upper part intact, and show thick with the lower part of the helmet.

        Progress on my work, modeling is mostly done, I intend to focus more on textures and possibly sculpting many parts of the character.

        I dont see a place to put the final shots , so i guess i should wait on the final shot? I'm not sure how it works but heres a a small shot. Unfortunately i have to render this one in zbrush so i tried to do the best i could.
