Thanks man! Yea definitely gotta work out all the hard edges. Cheers.
Alright, trying out some tattoo renderings, not sure what direction I want to take with this one but I'd really like some feedback because I want to really flesh this one out. Cheers. ![]() HI RES |

Hey Metalfingers,
great update! Really dig your use of values! Spawn is badasssss!! Really good take on the tattoo image. Take care of the color values on the skin - looking good but maybe a bit to pale… Oh - I could see a dragon (or something like this) running/flying up her arm, wrapping her shoulder… just an idea! Keep it coming, mate

The tattoed babe is looking good so far. The only concern I really have is that her face will become to busy when you start rendering and coloring the tats. Maybe edit out some of them, to me it feels like much of the lines on her cheeks and around her eyes are unnecessary and to squiggly. Have you seen examples of the Maori facial tattoos? I would like to see the linework on the face more realized. I love the simple stripes on her lips and down her chin, makes me warm inside.
![]() As far as the skin being to pale that Malo brought up, yeah I can see that but the figure is also surrounded by blue ambient light right? So that's going to pale the skin some. Her hand gestures feel natural, as well as the facial expressions. Post your progress, I'd like to see the rest of it. ![]()

Malo- Thanks for the crit man, agreed on the palenss but like Denizen said with the pale background I don't want her too saturated. Cheers.
Denizen- Thanks man Alextooth- Cheers, gonna have an update on that one soon. Alright, here are some drawings from the other day. Took a long road trip and got super fucking bored in the car, so I drew lots and lots and lots and lots of lines.
