Default Looking up on the world & stuff i do - Giorge Roman

    Hi there cghub,

I don’t know how to start this but if you get me going I often go on and on about how hard writing is for me. I recently found a window in my days and thought of sharing with you my works and a few thoughts. Whenever I have little time I browse around the forum, reading how people feel about what they do or should do. There is nothing you should do, those are my thoughts, lots of people have the tendency to talk about how romantic and rewarding art is to them, they will tell you lots of fairy tales about how they draw and what rituals they do and how you should draw better, better! I’ve been there and harsh lessons were learned, after a while I realized that if your made for art, you don’t have to look for it, it will come to you. People find liberty in that what they hold most precious, I happen to find that in grabbing a piece of paper and drawing, swinging left and right with a bristle or just whip out a marker and start making a wall more than a wall. That’s what you should do, find your liberty and go with it, in that same note I don’t say, fuck it all, don’t study and don’t better yourself. If study you must, then study an arm, a leg, but only if you crave that, if you’re saying to yourself, I like how that arm look, I want to use it sometimes. I like to believe about myself that I’m one of the happy possessors of a visual memory that helps me to work with more freedom not relying on reference or other stuff. Another thing that I want to talk to you about is quantity; I noticed that in similar communities, some poor kid going nuts about drawing more, creating more, consuming trees like a fireplace. They transform it in a sort of art penitence, and their complexion of grandeur in a kind of sin. Leave it come in peace I say. Eat whenever you’re hungry.

    Unfaithfully yours,
    Giorge Roman
