Awesome work so far everyone! Looking forward to seeing more progress!
@ TwoExZee -Thank you! Nice studies! Really liking the patterning and the texture your suggesting. You might think about the backbones of your creatures - they seem to dip abruptly. Perhaps you could lengthen the bodies a bit? Looking forward to more! ![]() @ tsadlyre - Thanks! Nice start! Love the stance and skin of the Rukoi! I like the way your handling the legs on these guys too. Looking forward to more! ![]() @ SkiDesignS - Nice action pose! Love the angle! I'm excited to see more progress and detail @ Grumbleputty - Thanks! Yeah I know I gotta push these guys. I haven't had much time between things recently but I will try to get some work done on them soon Great start! I love the way you've handled the 'extra' legs. They are a bit tough to deal with. Looking forward to more! Great action in your second post btw! ![]() @ Robobobo - Great start on the Lapi Bush! Looking forward to what you come up with further on. Yes, you may post three separate images for this round. However, each separate image may only contain one of the organisms. ![]() Keep up the good work everyone!

Quick nip in to check on everyone, haven't had time to do anything for my food chain, unfortunately.
@Grumble: Love the action pose man, but you'll want to check the Rukoi's front limbs, it looks like he's just tripping forwards. @Robobobo: Looks fantastic! can't wait to see your creatures, as well! Gonna push myself to do some work tonight, hope to have something to show tomorrow! Good night, y'all! |

-looking forward to seeing your next step! Robobobo: Wow, that's just beautiful- nice work on the Lapi bush! If you can bring that level of skill to the other two creatures, we're all in trouble! |

Sorry for the late post, been busy with Christmas
![]() @FateSilver: Nice work, man, very atmospheric! I love the surreal look of the Widlisa! @Robobobo: I love the brushwork on your designs, but the form of the Rukoi doesn't seem quite on par with the Lapi. Why is his overbite so exaggerated? His feet look like they belong on a slow herbivore, but his legs work for a fast carnivore. The tail is far too short for the sting to do much in that position. Other than that, keep up the great work! Here's some progress on mine. Fixed the levels, shrank the figures, added some ground shadows, added some highlights and the Lapi bush. Oh, and added some hair to the naked Widlisa Man, I didn't even realize how little time there is left :| |

yeah, I kind of intended that, I was thinking they would have a sort of symbiotic relationship like anemones and clownfish. The Widlisa gets protection and food, but it also attracts the Rukoi for the bush to grow spikes.

If I were to critique anything about your designs, it's that I'm not entirely sure the Widlisa's tusks would do much at all pointing so brusquely backwards. Unless you've already thought of that :P

Great start! I love the way you've handled the 'extra' legs. They are a bit tough to deal with. Looking forward to more! Great action in your second post btw!
