I often get on these activities in the last minute so I have myself to blame but when I saw it was pinocchio, I had to do something, one of my favourite stories, and also one of the best disney pictures ever made =)
well,
a bit more flat and stylized but not quite there yet.
hope I have time to finnish it tomorrow.

edit: hmm, hmm, I was sure there was something about a slingshot in the original story but reading up on it I guess there is not.
see if that stays, think its a nice image anyway, he holding it while petting the cat.

I'm a big fan of Disney's golden age animated features and I agree Pinocchio was one of the best; everything was right, the composition, the translation of reality, the mood; I get a little disgusted when I compare it with what they put out in the nineties.

yea, they have a more serious tone that I think is often lacking in the new ones, fortunately we have pixar nowadays, and ghibli.
my wacom is at my apartment and I'm at my parents over the weekend so I'll have to convince my little brother to take some time of from photoshop and lend me his.
would like to make some simple background details for this one also, we'll see, we'll see.

Made a small chapter image also, unfortunately the scanner did not work so I took a snapshot.
