mikezoo - mountain guardian warrior

Allright too much time has passed and I know i am late in the game here. Finally got around to creating my cgHUb account. As this post suggests I am going for a Mountain guardian type of warrior. Something that could fit in a mike mignola/Del Toro universe. A key reference so far has been mr.wink from hellboy 2.






I started with some sketches on some napkins at work (ill post them when i fcan) and then actually started moving polys around with default character mudbox.obj . I ended up knocking deleting some geometry and retoping in some places to accommodate what will be his horns.
I imagine this dude a protector to the mountainous regions of his species homelands.





Instead of battling it out I am pretty set on this pose of him arched back tooting his horn. I am still playing with some armor ideas and anatomy. Anyways lots of kickass work so far on the forum's, I gotta start posting around now more!
