      Default 3D printing

I am curious to which 3D printer(s) the company uses. I quickly browsed Offload Studios but did not see any reference to the machines you use.

We employ the only technology that is capable of both shape and color. At the core of our tactualizing process are the zcorp machines, that we have made a few modifications to to bring out the level of detail and color you see on our website.

          Default Partition

Q1: If I have a hires character model; What is the easiest way to create partitions between limbs? Or how can I make those "post holes" to reassemble the model if I have it printed in pieces?
-I've had very little luck with Maya booleans.

Q2 :Also, if I make an object with inverted normals. Will your print setup read that as "negative space" and subtract it from the model?

I appreciate your time, thank you

Q1: There are a few techniques we use with our software to generate positive and negative spaces within geometry. But of course, every sculpture has unique challenges. We work with the artist to set up the final geometry for printing.

Q2 : In general this holds true, but there are limitations. Again, best to contact us with a specific example so we can advise.
