When I see so many people doing full paintings, I get the feeling I should too... but damnit, there are so many things to learn, it can get confusing to figure out what to focus on.

Will try my best to do daily updates.

Tried to shade a little with lines but didnt work out well, i get the feeling that if im gonna shade everything i better take my time on it, and if i want to shade fast then i should only do it on the darkest shadows.

I didnt put all the time the grapa needs to look really nice (not that I think I could do it well atm) so do you guys have any adviece about that?

and also, any suggestion on what kind of studies are best to do? I gotta improve faster than I'm doing atm.

Hey again.

I recently downloaded all the ref pictures from characterdesigns.com and I have made the goal of copying all of them as practice, there are 4045 so it will certainly take a while. I should try to do more than 5 or it will take ages

Only did the daily sketches as studies today, but just before posting I noticed that the corner was annoyingly empty.
So I tried to fill it with something and... man was it fun, I should paint more, really.

Good going with all that anatomy practice man, those studies are really improving your pen-wielding skills! Yea, you should paint more! Draw and paint some from mind inbetween your studies so you can apply all you've learned, really great feeling

I know I'm just doing these studies per day, but I've been busy drawing some personal gitfs for family and friends so I'm a little limited in time, wish we didnt need to sleep.
I' m aiming at making some colour studies/paintings soon tho, will be fun.

Hey guys, today I have been busy but for a good reason, I may land a small job in the following days, gotta wait and see what happens.

After doing the daily copies I figured I could try and enviorement in my last 30mins, never done one before but it shouldnt be that hard, right?

maaaan I gotta check how pros do it and do some studies/enviros myself, I feel I''m doing something seriously wrong, or its just lack of practice knowledge

Still just copying from photos, its surprising how time consuming can it be to talk with people about jobs and such.

I really want to do a landscape study from ref, sounds crazy hard but the benefits must be crazy good too.

Hey guys, I finally worked a little in one of the challenges in the hub, it was fun so far, I think the rendering is too soft/undetailed, but its a beginning

Also, I got in a small project with some friends and I'll be doing grahpics for a videogame, I'm really excited and I bet its gonna be a great experience, hopefully I will be able to get enough time for working more on these challenges.
