karmajf: I'm honored! Looking gooood. It would appear that you're going to do him more justice than I did. I'll be watching and eagerly await your final.

It's going to be awesome to watch all the developments in this one. Wish I knew how to use the old Zbrush as well.

My first challenge ever!
It's been a while since I did some 3Dwork, so I thought this to be a good opportunity to start again.
I've done some sketches, and this is what I ended up with, any c&c is very much welcome!

Nifelfang: I like your creature, cant wait to see it in 3D.

Probably soon I'll have an update. I wanted to ask if anyone know any link or movie so I can learn more about texturing and all that?? Because I left the Telvaloon Moorie just with the material and it could be better :S

ok i am jumping in. in the challenges....
here is my first idea....

a iceworm (like in dune)... i will add lots of spikes and other "icy" elements.... will use salt-fluids to melt the ice and move in ice

I'm thinking to make something diferent, seen that will be many entrys that will focus on huge creatures that think like animals or insects.
So i'd like to share my idea with u guys, and see what u think about it.
The idea is:
A tribe of xamanic creatures that are like gray lephants with tusks, that walk in 2 legs, live inside the caves, have some knowlegde about craft weapons, fire and hunt in group.

I joined this challenge not as much time as I would like, but I think this challenge is more like the creatures in is natural form, don't know how to explain exaclty . But I guess that generation after generation according to the planet bios, their bodies and instincts evolve in such a way that they wouldn't use manufactured weapons i guess. its my opinion. Although I like your idea if I understand it right it remember me of Loxodon from Magic the Gathering
