It's that time again....

We have another very special round for you.

A little S.M. with a little S.M....

I want to see these girls:

Now be really careful with this one...It would almost be too easy to take the suit and change its color or alter the shoulder pads. Try to capture the essence of the sailor moon character in their suit design. Make it your own

Stylized, realistic, cartoonish-- up to you.

Feel free to include a background, or don't...entirely up to you.

Ample time to get involved with this challenge....but don't procrastinate:

The deadline will be September 8th at 10pm PST

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

Layout/Size: Keep all submissions to 1000-1200 pixels in height or width. It's okay if its slightly larger or smaller than that, just don't go too crazy.

Submissions: Post Final Images in Finals Thread (To be posted later.)

-One Entry Per Person

-Minimum 3/4 of character must be visible.

-Any medium is acceptable except photography.

-No sketches for finals, must show finished work.

-Follow the character description to the best of your ability.

-Focus on your illustration. Pay attention to anatomy, shape, form, and lighting. USE REFERENCE. Don't fret if answers don't always come too quickly. Remember, critical thinking is key to great character design.

Thought I'd ask for some clarification: Is it a space bounty hunter suit in general, or a space bounty hunter suit specifically inspired by and rooted in the Super Metroid universe?

I would stick to finishing just one of the girls in order to finish on time. If you have an idea for all of them, go for it. Just remember the deadline and decide whether or not you can maintain the same level of quality with 5 or more girls rather than just making one look really good.

Also, the suits should look like they are the same style of tech as Samus' or at least inspired by it, but I think it will be best if you take a crack at it and see what you can come up with. This is just for fun anyways, and part of the challenge will be to see how closely you can stick to the brief, vague as it may seem sometimes.

well here is a current wip idea for sailor mars i had the idea kinda like a female firebat from starcraft2 :P but very early stages and will posibly do more to it before this is over but crits and comments welcome!!

I would apply more black to the suit for colors, becasue her main colors are red black and white, give that a try? looking good so far!
