I'd be really tempted if I wasn't working full time half way across the continent! But I wish you guys all best of luck and hope it's absolutely amazing.

                So depressing...
There's absolutely no way you guys take international students (germany), right?

                  New Atelier!

I basically owe you everything. So Thank you and best of lucks!

I consider myself very lucky to have meet you and I wouldn't be able to do anything with my life if it wasn't for everything you taught me.

Thanks for all love, you guys. You are all beautiful and unique snowflakes. Seriously, though I appreciate all the kind words and recommendations.

We are a small private school with no accredidation. Because we are not recognized by the government in this capacity we are unable to provide financial aid or student visas. Personally, my knowledge of visas and what not is extremely limited. I would contact some of the folks who have made it to the US from other countries to study and ask them for advice or how to proceed as I am unable to help in the visa department.

As far as accptance of students, anyone who can make it to SF and shows the desire to learn and seriously desires to pursue art as their career is considered for the program regardless of nationality.

                    Hope that helps.

I would have killed for something like this when I was starting out. Come to think of it...I think id kill some kids now to learn from these guys.
Congratulations to anyone who makes it into this, because you are going to be a monster when these fellas are done with you.

I'm going to pimp this on my DA page.

Best of luck, much love to you guys.

This sounds so amazing. Do you know if there is any chance of occasional shorter term workshops for people wanting to brush up on their skills but who can't afford (either financially or time-wise) to go full-time? Something similar to the 4-7 day workshops that Watts Atelier offers a few times a year? I would definitely be interested if something like that was ever offered.

Just a word from someone from abroad who tried with the Visa thing. Beware of the risk, please. Just today I went to try and get my visitor's visa renewed and it's was rejected on the spot...for the second time. this is because I tried to attend 6 months at a time.

Please beware. It's your' own responsibility and I regret nothing, but I can't speak for everyone.

                                Things that help:

                                - Have a college degree.
-Research about what's up between your own country and the US as far as Visas and waivers go.
                                - Maybe just apply for 6 months?
-Maybe you don't really need to come back to the US after completing it?

Suspicion and prejudice are the corner stones of the US immigration offices. Please keep that in mind.
