    Default ArtRage

With the much touted version 3 just around the corner, it would seem churlish not to have a thread for this up and coming software. I'm a huge fan of this often overlooked painting package. Don't be fooled by the small price tag. There is a lot of power behind its friendly facade and a fast growing user base on Ambient's own forum to tell you about it.

If you fall in that number or are just interested in sharing your thoughts - This is the place. Do please join in and share your tips, tricks and torments.

I look forward to reading them.
    Cheers,
    Nick

      Default Not long now . . . . . ?

ArtRage 3 has reached beta 11, and seems to be in the final straight of wrinkle ironing. Without being allowed to give anything away, I can say that you should expect a totally revamped and altogether more capable bit of software (and the current release is already that).

If they can keep the pricing anywhere near the bargain basement cost of version 2.5, it should quickly become a popular choice of painting app, not just for starting out but to keep using for its own merits.

I have Artrage Studio Pro and I have a question. How is it compared to Painter and Photoshop?
