      Default Update...

...thought I would keep it clean with vector lines and hand draw hair (later) for some contrast...

          Hey there, BMJ.

I really like your lines here. Very clean and efficient.
I would maybe suggest not making the lines so dominant on some of her facial features however. The areas like the cheeks, the crease by her nose and her lips are very round, delicate features. (imo)They should be defined more so by light and shadow(tones) Not to say that you should remove the lines completely

Definitely think you can get more creative with the wings. I am not sure how you plan on finishing those off, but definitely think about creating a design you like, then working on just one side until you like it and then mirror the layer(to keep the symmetry of butterfly wings.) Keep at it!

            Default Finally :)

            Hey thanks MSINC,

really appreciate the crits, the line work is just a base at the mo, my plan is to work out all the forms then move onto the values properly.

Will definatly take your advice on the shading

btw well done in the jam your peice is very strong & original!

PS will play with some more wing forms next

              Default Wip 5

Hey Hubbers, here's wip 5- lookin at an alternative wing design (maybe simplify it a bit??)

Also starting to play with the values, got to try and crack it in the next 10 days (along with a couple of other jobs )

can anyone tell me how to change the thumb on this thread to my latest post??

                  Default lucky number

...more work on the values + last sk effort on the wings = running out of time on this 1...
