Now, is the 'Punisher' really a bust or not? well it has arms, hands, half his legs above the knees.
I am sorry but in that case it doesn't fall into the category of what I call a 'Bust'...

Next time please a tad more precision concerning the briefing would be nice, that's all ...

Punisher doesnt really have legs is the "base" that is in form of a pilar sort of but the way it is posted on the final shot it seems he is full body... but michelle rodrigues end just above the knee..

Seems there is a lot of the same consensus about the winners - a bit unexpected.. but congrats! I'm sure everyone put their all into this comp.. some nice work came out of it!

i think those that didn't win and are complaining should be awarded tubes of Monistat.... try harder next time , shut your pileholes, and stop ruining it for those that were awarded recognition for their hard work.

That's offensive dude.

I think nobody failed to give his or her best. It's always hard to judge art, if not impossible. Nobody should feel sorry he or she failed to get a prize. Remember Van Gogh, we are lucky in comparison

I am happy with this contest because I worked really hard day and night and am somewhat happy with the end result, plus I got some really good feedback both here and on the zbrush central. At the end of the day if you don't do it for yourself what's the point? And the prize is just an icing to the cake, if not you still get the cake

to clarify: I wasn't complaining about not winning at all - I was nowhere near the top 10.. I was just intrigued at the results - 2 of the winners were in my top 5 for sure.. I just found it interesting who won considering the amazing work that was produced. I was making a commentary on those who were also intrigued at the results. And on top of that I'm always a firm believer in the fact that you learn more when you don't win - then you have something to shoot for to get better :-D

oh and.. if you're giving out free tubes of monistat. i mean... you never know when one will come in handy ;-) haha i jest.

Let's say that you won first place, second, or even third. I am sure you would really be pumped up. How would you feel if you see your peers saying, "Wow, the judging was off..." , or "I didn't expect to see those results, none of my favorites".....

How would you feel if you read comments like that?

I think those comments would not be as harsh if the judges and leaders of this contest ran it more professionally and with more compassion for us competing and asking questions (this doesn't concern their picks in any way).

Public voting can be a bit a bit tricky..people with variable IP could vote themselves hundreds of times...
