@msinc: Thank U I'm tryin' to fix all tht mistakes. maybe I should know when it's time to "kill the baby" but I like the idea of the killer and his strange partner.

Your new pose is far better. The simplicity put the character under a new light: more powerful and confident.

I don't even know where to go with this topic, guns are such a common theme but I've never really worked with the idea. This is one Jam I need to watch.

Default drawingJam 26: Have gun, will travel...lady assassin sketch

newbie here for drawing jams. need help with better perspective, hands, and futuristic guns.

would like to paint in photoshop with black/white (monochrome) colors, but i'm a newbie at painting in photoshop as well.

still should be challenging and interesting. critics are always welcome.

After some tweaking here and there maybe I will go for the D version. I'll push back the lights an i'll try to drive the viewer toward the man and then on the beast...

        Photoshop custom brushes

basically, take some photos, tweak it with high contrast, eraser and some brushstroke and then 'capture' with EDIT/DEFINE BRUSH PRESET. Then play with brush controls.

I rarely use this kind of brushes, I mean 'that' complex. My favourite tree brushes are more simple, just stems and a couple of branches.

Irawan: so style-ized I'll have to say it in an Aussie accent: NOICE!

Msinc: Looking some good 'ol 70's metal warrior chic with an attitude- can't much coole than that! (well, 2 of them I assume but anyway...)

I'll have to post a sketch tonight. I am so into this jam now.

there's still a bit of work to do but maybe I'll take a break and I'll check the work in a couple of days. I need to see it with new eyes ( ...and I want join the Storyteller challenge too ).

Coming on nicely! the main character is great, especially the details, you can tell he's a nasty basterd (Tarintino stylie)

I concur with the break technique, will post another wip tonight & pick it up again in the week

Default starting out with a sketch

The idea- a little bit of class. And an excuse to design a big gun. I want to do some RnD on a few pieces of machinery first, I'm going to need a friend of mine to pose for me I think.

It's the only pic in my gallery- haven't figured out how to post images to here from there yet.

                  Yeah, newb- I know...

right click on image in your gallery and "copy link", in the reply form click the button "insert image" (the little yellow postcard icon) and paste the link.
there's also a topic about the attachment around here

@cirrocorrela: yeah, welcome aboard, is my first jam too (actually this jam it seems full of newbees like us )
@BMJ: thank you!. I'm sure your camper-killer is coming up quite basterd too

Some really Swweeet entries so far!
I don't know if I'll be able to refine this as much as I'd like but here's what's on the table:
My hired gun is of the 1930's-40's (public enemies) style equipped with the winchester model 70 and still working out the colt sidearm
