Default 3D Jam #4 Green Goblin - Gformenti

    Hi guys,

Im new here, I saw the thread on ZBC and decided to take part, Unfortunatly I only saw it last night which puts me kinda late in the game. So I decided to do something I already had a grasp and a base mesh to start with.

I modeled a Bust of Willem Dafoe for my turntable in ZBC so I decided to make the movie version of Greeen Goblin. I Admit I got a lil bummed when I came here to post and saw a green goblin entry already : / but at least is the Comic strip version .

I found googling a picture very graphic of Willem Dafoe playing that Villain in Streets of Fire, and decided to use it as his expression. My idea is making him completly deranged with his armor on and his helmet open and/or partially broken.

Here is what i got o far.

    Orginal Head

    Resculpting and the Photo Reference

Further on Posing as the Reference

      Update

Basic head Modeling done, no pores or wrinkles from alphas yet.. I dont wanna it now because some areas will be covered by the broken helmet and I dont wanna waste time doing the whole head. The reference i have from him screaming is from almost 30 years ago, I sculpted major folds in the face base don recent pictures of him.

      now to the Helmet!!

Nice progression. I was too inspired to model him, but alas I started that sculpt before this challenge. However I wans't inspired by spiderman, but by antichrist

                    Thats the idea!
plus the spider webs with the pumpkin bombs glueing them on the armor. I also think i might tilt the head back a bit or twist the shoulders more for more dynamic gesture.

Thanks mate for the nice comment! , I thougnht it would be kinda of a breaking point on the sculpt how I would do the breaking part, and to my surprise it was quite easy thanks mostly to gaouge brush!!
