Talking 3D JAM #4: Elephant Man (Joseph Merrick)-skutt

I've been contemplating sculpting Mr. Merrick for a while now. Luckily this contest coincides with a school assignment in which we get to make a bust of our choice. Soooo Elephant Man it is!!! I started this guy yesterday from zspheres....im using pics of the elephant man fro reference as well as an awesome sculpture by Paul Komoda.

    UPDATE!

It's easy to update the title, all you have to do is edit your first post to change the title. Good luck in the challenge!

Looking great so far. Love the asymmetry and details. You could try putting him in a really nice suit or jacket for contrast maybe? Looking forward to see where this goes.

hi skutt, nice work so far, i would suggest you to make more with the eyes ...more asymmetrie ...maybe close a eye or swell a eye...i guess that would help to transport the theme a lot...

This is great! I love the feel of the cloth, and the flesh feels like flesh for the most part.

I wonder if maybe the clothes have a few too many lumps. I only say that because there's so much detail in the face, it would be nice to imply detail in the cloths with just a few lumps maybe. Give the eye a chance to rest and keep the focus on the face. just a thought though. Looking good.
