Default Des Hanley's book of scribbles.

New here at CGHub, never really had an online sketchbook before so we'll see what we get as we go.

Just personal stuff as all my other stuff is under NDA's though I might post them up when things are released.

    Anyway on we go...

These guys were initially rough sketches for a miniature line that never panned out - I was never paid for them so I thought I'd use them for painting practice.

This guy was for a CHOW over on CA.Org
I roughed him out and slapped on some paint - I'm not the fastest painter in the world - total about 2 hours of playing at the end of the day as a wind down.
I was surprised it won, but there you go

Nice work, I like the cat and the boar characters. Skull looks ok, but I find it too plain and textureless compared to your other works! Might go well in the album cover challenge?

Working up these guys for the Story Tellers challenge -
get to play a bit with some steampunk technology in the sphere.

I like the energy of your images, especially that Cat Warrior one. The steampunk image is shaping up nicely. Lookig forward to the finish on that.

Testing out some brushes after my Wacom pen was misbehaving (and a update on the Storytellers pic)
I might go back and finish these off - playing around with colour over grayscale.

              All looking good, particularly storytellers.

For your cyber woman, I think the face could do with more colouring, still looking quite greyscale - though I am sure you haven't got to it yet
